Abobotulinum - toxinA __ units (__ units/kg/dose/leg) IM into each leg every 3 months.
Dosages
Lower Limb Spasticity:
10-15 units/kg/leg up q3 months.
Max: 30 units/kg total for both legs, or 1000 units total, whichever is lower.

Mechanism of Action
Botulinum neurotoxin type-A (BoNT-A) blocks the release of acetylcholine from peripheral cholinergic nerve terminals inhibiting neurotransmitter release which results in flaccid paralysis Used for the treatment of disorders characterised by excessive cholinergic neuronal activity such as dystonia or spasticity.

Intramuscular Injection: 300 units vial, 500 units vial
