PREDNISOLONE EYE DROPS (Paeds) (Pred-Forte; Pred Mild) Mechanism of action: Topical corticosteroid. Ref: 1 Last update: 2019-08-24	Eye drops: 0.12% (Pred Mild), 1% (Pred Forte)	Initial Therapy in Severe Cases: 1 to 2 drops into conjunctival sac every hour during the day, Q2H during the night until favorable response is obtained. Mild-Moderate Inflammation, or when favorable response is attained in Severe Cases: 1 to 2 drops Q4 to 12H	Lowest effective concentration should be used. If no improvement within several days, the drug should be discontinued and other therapy considered. Increased intraocular pressure, cataract formation and delayed wound healing may occur.
